Internship

Starting a new chapter? KTP welcomes undergraduates to dive into the real working world. This is more than an experience – it's a chance to shape your future career.

Our internship benefits both ways. You learn by doing, gaining insights that stick. We discover potential talents who might join us later. Good academics matter, and so do communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform statutory audit

  2. Execute audit planning memorandum

  3. Engage in e-bank confirmation

  4. Understand how KTP works as a business and adds value to clients

  5. Carry out ad-hoc duties, as necessary


Requirements:

  1. An undergraduate pursuing recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification.

  2. Serious and rigorous work, strong learning ability & communication and coordination ability.

  3. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.  Mandarin is not required but an added advantage.

  4. The ability to work as part of a team and be accountable for deliverables in a fast-paced environment

  5. Minimum 5 - 6 months internship

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage, organize and plan the assignments in compliance with the scheduled timeline

  2. Preparation of audit compliance, working paper and financial statement

  3. Liaise and organize meetings with clients on the progress of the assignment.

  4. Carry out substantive audit procedures over various income statements and balance sheets.

  5. Perform analytical procedures over various income statements and balance sheets.

  6. To prepare tax computation and Return Forms as well as manage tax compliance matters for a portfolio of tax clients

  7. To handle tax consulting assignments under supervision by the Manager.


Requirements:

  1. Possess Professional Certificate, Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or equivalent qualification.

  2. Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients)

  3. Work Independently and positive attitude

  4. Possesses strong presentation, written and verbal skills.

  5. Practical experience on Audit Express and BrassTax is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

  1. To independently lead audit team in planning, execution, and finalisation of group audits.

  2. Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.

  3. Familiar with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standards (MPERS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

  4. Liaise and organize meetings with clients on the progress of the assignment.

  5. To prepare tax computation and Return Forms as well as manage tax compliance matters for a portfolio of tax clients

  6. Able to provide advice and support on tax matters to clients, including identifying tax risk and solving it.

  7. To handle tax consulting assignments under supervision by the Manager.


Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Degree in Accounting / Finance, ACCA or equivalent qualification.

  2. At least 3 to 4 years of working experiences in related field.

  3. Proficient in English and Mandarin (Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients)
