2. Collect data
Collect data as provided by the company or use an external source.

3. Analyze
Identify the drivers of value for the company.

4. Calculate the benefit stream
Determine what income measure to provide the basis of valuation.

5. Income approach
Estimate the future anticipated benefits by converting into present value.

6. Assets approach
Value the subject firm’s assets or the cost of replacement.

7. Market approach
Value the business with a similar guideline company, transaction or business.

8. Select the best approach
Use the best judgement to value on the three approaches.

9. Discount and premium
Apply discount and premium with external factors.
