Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) Campaign on Compound Reduction

SSM is offering a compound reduction incentive themed 'Start Compliance with the New Act with the Zero Compound' from 1 September 2018 to 31 December 2018 for the companies, directors, business owner to settle the unpaid compound. The compound reduction incentives will be implemented in stages, with the reduction rate as follows:

A) For compound issued under Companies Act 2016 and Companies Act 1965

Payment Period

1 September to 30 September 2018
1 October to 31 October 2018
1 November to 30 November 2018
1 December to 31 December 2018 

Discount Rate

80% or minimum RM200 (whichever is higher)
70% or minimum RM300 (whichever is higher)
60% or minimum RM400 (whichever is higher)
50% or minimum RM500 (whichever is higher)


Note: The reduction rate is from the original value of the compound

B) For compound issued under Business Registration Act 1956

Payment Period

1 September to 30 September 2018
1 October to 31 October 2018
1 November to 30 November 2018
1 December to 31 December 2018 

Discount Rate

80% or minimum RM20 (whichever is higher)
70% or minimum RM50 (whichever is higher)
60% or minimum RM70 (whichever is higher)
50% or minimum RM90 (whichever is higher)


To enjoy the above incentives, the relevant companies, directors and business owners may attend Level 26, Compliance Division, Companies Commission of Malaysia, Menara SSM @ Sentral, No. 7 Jalan Stesen Sentral 5, Kuala Lumpur Sentral, 50623 Kuala Lumpur or any of the Offices of the State Offices of Companies Commission of Malaysia throughout the country.
